THE PACKET AT A GLANCE
A visual overview of my record
Originally began as a way to keep track of accomplishments and projects underway, the sheet featured below also provides an easy visual representation of my progress as a teacher, scholar, and member of the KU community. Each year, my responsibilities grow and change based on department needs, student feedback, and shifting trends in my discipline and Higher Ed more generally.

At a glance, my major accomplishments in Year One were getting an article accepted in Review of Communication, the PASSHE Sustainability grant from the Brandywine Conference, and securing a client for my Writing for Social Media Course.
My major accomplishments in Year Two were getting an article in AEJMC about Agency, securing national attention for the class and the major, landing a book chapter acceptance in the Truban edited volume on Public Relations and Banter, working with Lismeylin Feliz on her Honrs capstone project, and teachign y revised syllabus from the Brandywine conference as COMP 100.
Year Three was a year of transitions and successes, as I had a book chapter on Space Tourism accepted, an article on planetary dialogue published, taught four new preps (Agency I & II, Writing for PR, special topics course on AI and Writing) including taking over Agency Experience, and took PRSSA on an agency tour to Philadelphia while networking with an alum. I also had to abandon a book project with a co-author that had been accepted by a press, but on the other hand, I submitted my own book that (finally) aligned my research, teaching, and ethos together. I also had a book chapter on AI and Bernard Stiegler accepted by an emerging voice in Ai + Communication studies book series.
Upon accepting the offer to KU, I negotiated a year off my clock and am going up ahead of schedule. In my fourth year, as I prepare my packet I am managing a division of a national conference, giving an invited talk at another University (based off a conference presentation I gave at NeMLA), finishing the writing of my MS on sustainability, and have two other article projects ready to submit (one an offshoot of the book project involving Stiegler and money; the other, tangentially related, on media ecology and Nick land’s philosophy of Bitcoin). I continue to take on more department, college, and university responsibilities while delivering excellent instruction.
